Kick Around for North Area Rush Boulder

Come and Join Us!

The Kick Around is a get together for soccer players and families who are looking to find information and details about our club! Due to the high number of inquiries we are receiving, we have decided to put on an event where we can showcase who we are and how we operate. We will have some of our staff/partners present to answer any questions that you may have and some of our sponsors/vendors will be on hand.

May 16th, 2012

5:00pm – 7:30pm (6:30pm General Meeting along with Q&A)

Summit Park – 4655 Hanover Ave, Boulder CO 80305

Food and drinks will be available.

We will have lots of activities for players and siblings to participate in.

Womens Soccer is Back!

With the WPS announcing their suspension for the 2012 season, there was a lot of talk about Women’s soccer being “gone” in America. All the stars were going to play overseas as they supposedly would not want to lower their standards and play for the W-League this season. However, many people were forgetting that the W-League once had players like Heather O’Reilly, Christie Rampone, Carli Lloyd, Shannon Boxx, Tobin Heath, Heather Mitts, I could go on…

Just yesterday, the Seattle Sounders Women of the W-League proved that there could be a successful return of women’s soccer. Sounders hosted a preseason exhibition game, showcasing their 2012 season signings such as Hope Solo, Alex Morgan, Sydney Leroux, and Stephanie Cox. Along with the WNT players, the Sounders rounded the group with some ex-WPS talent in Veronica Perez, Lyndsey Patterson, and Katie Deines. The outcome was a seemingly easy 5-0 win over Seattle Pacific along with a sellout crowd of excited and energized fans. There has not been an exact number for attendance announced yet, but it has been said that there was about 4,000 fans at the Starfire Stadium.

North Area Rush at Boulder Hires DOC

The North Area Rush is pleased to announce, officially, Tony Anglin as the Director of Coaching at Boulder starting in the spring of 2012. Tony came to the North Area Rush in the fall of 2011, helping to create the Boulder wing of the North Area Rush. In addition to his duties in Boulder, Tony has also been the head coach for a couple of very successful Thornton based NA Rush teams. Continue reading →

North Area Rush Boulder has partnered with Challenger Sports for the 2012 Summer season! Challenger Sports will be putting on their TetraBrazil camp in Boulder which brings the flair and passion of Brazilian soccer to America! This camp is open to ALL players, inside or outside the North Area Rush club. Challenger Sports is very well know for their outstanding camps and their fantastic trainers so we are very excited to be able to work with them!
